The Heflin Family!

What an amazing shoot this was, and these pictures are my favorite so far. Kailey and Ricky were up for anything, including posing in 20 degree weather at sundown, and laying on the floor to get an amazing portrait of the two lovebirds! We only lasted 30 minutes in the freezing temperatures but these pictures were so worth it! What an amazing sunset!

We set up a second shoot to finish up the pictures and found a cute little shopping center decorated for Christmas, What a great place for photos! I actually have two more shoots set up in this cute little shopping center. I am in love with these photos! The camera obviously loved Kailey, doesn't she look like a model? Sweet Sleeping Baby

I love when Camden falls asleep with his daddy, I have so many pictures of them sleeping. I have been wanting to get some artsy pictures of Camden sleeping, but I could never get the angle I wanted when he was in his crib, so I took advantage of this moment!

I also wanted to add one more picture, This is Happiness, Pure Happiness! I caught this sweet moment when my Sister In Law and Camden were playing.

Fun with Camden!

I have been in a Photo-Funk the last couple of days... I pull out my camera, ready to get some great shots.... and I get nothing, but as the fall decor comes down and winter decor goes up, and the changing leaves fall off the trees, I get more excited about winter portraits filled with snow and Christmas lights!

I wanted to share some pics I took of my son a few months ago, I love these pictures! Camden's eyes are amazingly beautiful and that is what I was focusing on when I took these.

My son has been such a great model to learn from!!! I hope everyone has a great week!

I've always wanted...

I have always wanted to do the cool ring pictures... You know the wedding pictures with the rings in flowers, or hanging from trees. Well, after a long rough day, I needed some photography therapy so I gave it a try with my ring and my husbands! What do you think?

I LOVE everything about photography. I love how after a hard day, all I have to do is pull out my Nikon, snap some pictures and I am automatically in a better mood.

One Week Challenge!

I have been reading different blogs from photographers about photography challenges. I would love to do a 365 day challenge at some point to really test my photography skills... maybe down the road... haha. I have started small and on Monday, November first I started a one week challenge. a different picture everyday of an object. Since I do mostly people photography, I wanted to challenge myself.

 Monday's Magnificent Orange Halloween Cupcakes! I have discovered that I LOVE photographing bright colorful desserts!

 Tuesday's Tasty Sunflare! I have been practicing this and I think I finally got it!

Wednesday's Wonderful Baby shoes. Aren't Cams shoes cute? I was working on different types of focus methods here.

The Thomas Family!

This shoot was so much fun! We had to set up a garage to do this photoshoot because it was raining and cold outside! This was a new experience for me, I had never done a photoshoot like this before but this is one beautiful family, and I am convinced they couldn't take a bad photo if they tried! Little Baby A is so good! She laughed and cooed and talked up a storm. She is such an angel. Here are a few of my favorites! Enjoy!

My First Photoshoot!

I will always remember my first photoshoot. I was so nervous and my stomach was in knots. I was so lucky to have such an amazing couple, they were laid back and up for anything.
